WHAT EXPENSES WILL I.P.O.F.
REIMBURSE?
The
I.P.O.F. may cover actual expenses accrued as a result of an on-duty
injury. These include, but are not limited to the
following:

Lost
Wages
·
Replacement or
damaged equipment (not furnished by the member agency)
·
Spouse/significant
other lost wages
·
Other expenses on a
case by case basis
All claims
are submitted to the Board of Directors for approval of reimbursement. The
I.P.O.F. may under certain circumstances, approve an Emergency Disbursement of
funds to cover immediate expenses for the injured officer or his/her family when
the Officer is seriously injured in the line of duty.
HOW IS THE I.P.O.F. FUNDED?
The
I.P.O.F. is a non-profit organization supported by the contributions form the
community. The I.P.O.F. traditionally conducts several fund-raising events
per year.
These
fundraisers include an Annual Golf Tournament, Motorcycle Fun Run, various
community projects in conjunction with other non-profit organizations, Annual
Car Show and the Annual Police vs. Firefighters Baseball game.
